Spring Reigns
Spring Reigns

Here comes the Spring in Winter’s wake
She blusters in, the branches quake
With flooding rain, the Earth she showers
Then dresses it with grass and flowers.

With joyful glee the songbirds raise,
A song of thanks to give Her praise.
And all God’s creatures, small and great
Her loving touch, appreciate.

In warmth and dignity she reigns
And casts off Winter’s cold remains.
And when her time on Earth is done
She abdicates to Summer’s fun.
Inspired by the recent change of seasons. Please let me know what you think.

It's good to see the Spring bouncing free to dispel the cold and bring the old fashion rain to dress the ground into freshness and nourish the blooming garden. The brilliant gift you have I always adore!
